Lady Gaga Popped Up Onstage For A Spontaneous, Tipsy ‘Panama’ Cover

Continuing a classic rock covers tour that will seemingly never cease, Lady Gaga decided to crash a group of old friends’ set for nostalgia’s sake. While performing a show at Gramercy Theatre in New York City, the Dirty Pearls were joined by the Cheek To Cheek singer for a rock out session of Van Halen’s timeless (yet still incredibly timely) hit “Panama.”

Perhaps inspired by some liquid courage (you can see her swigging onstage as well), she does her best Diamond Dave impression while in a tied-up t-shirt, ripped fishnets, and underwear. While we can’t remember if David Lee Roth ever wore that exact outfit, he probably sported something close. This homage to the classic follows last week’s cover of John Lennon’s “Imagine” and her traditional hits album with Tony Bennett.

According to Idolator, she also covered Billy Idol’s “Rebel Yell” with the band. So, just let it be known that if you’re performing a song that you’d likely hear on your local classic rock radio station, you are not safe from Lady Gaga barreling her way onstage to join you. Eddie Money should probably watch his back.
