Someone Swapped Out Lil Uzi Vert’s Vocals On ‘XO Tour Llif3’ For Tupac And The Results Are Spectacular

Lil Uzi Vert’s single “XO Tour Llif3” is one of the biggest breakout hits of 2017. The song has already broken into the Billboard Top 10 and has a strong shot at becoming the overall No. 1 of Uzi’s career. Despite the song’s significant buzz, or maybe because of it, some enterprising hip-hop fan has decided to play around with the beat put together by TM88, and reimagined the track using old Tupac vocals.

The results are impressive. From the seamless way ‘Pac flows along to the beat, to the mirrored visuals emulating the original video, somebody obviously put in a lot of time and attention into this new song. Tupac’s words themselves seem to be taken from his song “Sleep” off the posthumous album Pac’s Life.

In a recent interview with XXL, TM88 talked about how he had to improvise to create the now instantly-recognizable beat to “XO Tour Llif3.” “I had my old computers in Atlanta, and I couldn’t use the speakers because I didn’t have the hook ups,” he recalled. “I wanted to make beats so bad, I had a lot in me, I had a lot going on in my head, so I grabbed the Pill, sat down and cooked like a 20 pack. Sent Uzi like 10 or 12 of ‘em, and… ‘XO Tour Llif3.'”

You can watch the newly imagined version of “XO Tour Llif3” with the added Tupac vocals above and compare it to the original in the video below. Let us know which one you prefer in the comments section.
