Lil Yachty Reveals The Release Date And Aquatic Artwork For ‘Lil Boat 2’

A few months ago, Lil Yachty said that Lil Boat 2, the sequel to his 2016 Lil Boat mixtape, would be out in December 2017. December came and Lil Boat 2 did not come with it, but we’ll still be getting it very soon: Yachty took to social media (after taking a break from it) to announce that Lil Boat 2 will be released on March 9th, the two-year anniversary of the original Lil Boat.

He also shared the artwork for the release, and it sticks with the aquatic theme of Lil Boat. This time, though, he’s not in a boat, but instead standing in the orange-hued water, shirtless and sporting a couple of big gold chains. Like on the cover for the original Lil Boat mixtape, Yachty also included “33.7550° N, 84.3900° W” on the bottom of the art, which are the coordinates for downtown Atlanta.

That’s about all the info Yachty has shared about Lil Boat 2, as he hasn’t yet revealed the tracklist or any potential collaborators. Speaking of collaborators, though, Yachty has some non Lil Boat 2 joint efforts on the way, as he says he’s working on a collaborative project with Gucci Mane and Migos, as well as a collaboration with Lil Pump.
