In May, Ciara released her new album Beauty Marks which includes her viral challenge single “Level Up” as well as “Thinkin Bout You,” which she performed at the 2019 Billboard Music Awards. Cici is currently on tour performing tracks off the project and it would be well worth it to catch her performing to some of her classics such as “Goodies” and “Oh,” too.

Avril Lavigne @ The Greek Theatre [Tickets]

In February, pop-rock icon Avril Lavigne‘s sixth studio album Head Above Water was released with the tracks “Head Above Water,” “Tell Me It’s Over,” and “Dumb Blonde” in tow. Though a serious case of Lyme disease left Avril sick for two years, music is how she made it through. “All of a sudden, I have this song concept and all these lyrics,” she told UPROXX earlier this year. “I grabbed my cell phone and I went into Notes, and I was like, ‘God, help me keep my head above the water so that I can breathe, and rescue me.”

070 Shake @ Roxy Theatre [Tickets]

Last year, 070 Shake gained massive popularity after her appearances on Kanye West’s album Ye, Pusha T’s Daytona and Nas’ Nasir. That’s a great lineup for an up-and-coming artist and now her debut album Modus Vivendi is coming soon via GOOD Music.

Already this year, Chaz Bear, also known as Toro y Moi has released his studio album Outer Peace and his mixtape Soul Trash. It only makes sense that he’s hitting the road to give it to fans live.

Flying Lotus @ The Novo [Tickets]

Flying Lotus is truly an amazing hip-hop artist and all-around talented musician with six albums under his belt including his recently released record Flamagra. It landed on Billboard‘s Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart and it’s easy to see why with its star-studded lineup featuring Anderson Paak, Tierra Whack, Denzel Curry, Shabazz Palaces, Thundercat, Toro y Moi and Solange.

Lenny Kravitz @ The Shrine Auditorium [Tickets]

Grammy Award-winning rock veteran Lenny Kravitz delivered his Billboard 200 album Raise Vibrations last year and is currently making his way across the globe to deliver equally electrifying performances.

Dom Kennedy @ Belasco Theater [Tickets]

Los Angeles mainstay Dom Kennedy has certainly been quiet the past few years and it’s been nearly a year since his last project Volume Two was released. With a catalog like Dom’s, which includes “My Type Of Party” and “When I Come Around,” catching this West Coast legend live should be a treat

Emotional Oranges @ The Fonda Theatre [Tickets]

Mysterious R&B duo Emotional Oranges has already been named as favorites of Michelle Obama and Drake and their debut EP The Juice, Vol. 1 has impressed so much that their fanbase is growing by the day. The conversation sung on melodic songs such as “Personal” and “Motion” is what makes these two a step above the rest.

Some artists covered here are Warner Music artists. Uproxx is an independent subsidiary of Warner Music Group.
