The Actual Thrift Shop From Macklemore’s ‘Thrift Shop’ Is Closing And He’s Pissed

The Seattle thrift shop that served as the backdrop for a lot of…well, “Thrift Shop” is shutting down. And Macklemore is understandably upset.

Macklemore tweeted out a link to a Seattle Times story on the closing of the Capital Hill Value Village, which a spokesperson said is closing after nearly 20 years due to “unfortunate” circumstances.

That’s right, Macklemore. Do not go gently away from that good price.

The Seattle location of the thrift store chain was one of several used in the video, so we’re assuming Mack still has plenty of places to scoop someone’s granddad’s clothes.

If you absolutely need to Mackle more, check out this impressive lightshow set to “Downtown” and check out this heroic high school that intervened to stop a concert by the “Same Love” rapper.
