The Internet Is Furious At Madonna For Tweeting Pictures Of Historical Figures In Facial Bondage

Madonna and her crew have been scrambling to keep her and her music relevant in the wake of the hacking crisis that saw her entire new album — deemed “unfinished demos” — leak on the internet months before it was set to release. To combat the leak, Madge put out six new tracks on iTunes as a gift for those who pre-ordered her album, Rebel Heart.

Now, either Madonna, or someone on her team who includes Photoshop skills in his or her LinkedIn profile, has been tweeting pictures of historical figures in the same facial bondage the promo pic for her album has her dressed up in. The internet is not pleased.

The tweets started innocently enough with this one of America’s favorite prime-time dad.

Then, things began to swerve radically into the socio-political arena.

Madonna has been pissing people off for years, so this latest stunt should come as no surprise. Still, may people hit the interwebs to express their disdain for Madge’s distasteful tweets.

Before everyone gets their panties in knot, just be aware that Madonna knows what she’s doing. She’s been purposely pissing in everyone’s punchbowl for decades just to get a reaction, and this is no different. Is it offensive? Sure. But, do you honestly expect the “Material Girl” to wax philosophically and intelligently about the issues with race relations in America in preparation for her new album?

No, you expect her to flash a boob, grab her crotch, and burn a picture of Al Sharpton, because that’s what she does. Nothing new to see here folks. Still, it’s news, and we report on the news, which means we’re tossing the chum into the Madge feeding frenzy, because once again, Madonna wins.
