Meek Mill Takes Credit For Beanie Sigel And State Property’s Philly Cypher

Cancel that “Where Are They Now?” for State Property. The Philly-based group made a surprise appearance at the 2016 BET Hip Hop Awards with a Philly cypher that included all original members minus Young Chris of the Young Guns. Beanie Sigel, Freeway, Omillio Sparks, Peedi Crack and Neef Buck all held it down though with their best #barz. And apparently they all have Meek Mill to thank for the great look.

Fresh from his stellar Funk Flex freestyle, the Dreamchaser revealed on Instagram that he had a hand in getting State Prop at the Hip Hop Awards, despite his disappointing beef with Beans. “I’m the one who pitched a Philly cypher and getting Philly more involved with BET,” Meek wrote about the group’s opportunity. “Alley ooping a n#%ga that’s throwing shade but still catching blessings!”

Back in the city of brotherly love, Beanie Sigel is prepping his Meek Mill diss record and accompanying video. The State Prop rapper uploaded a clip on social media so cringeworthy that it hurts to even acknowledge. It’s pretty much Beans with two choppas rapping about pumping “monkeys” and anyone else who isn’t “gang gang gang.”

Awful. Just awful and a damn shame. Beanie Sigel is a 42-year-old father-of-two with one working lung. Whatever it is, this damn sure ain’t it.
