Michelle Williams does not like airports. In Sarah Polley’s Take This Waltz, which came out earlier this year, her character used “airline connections” as a terrible metaphor for not being able to connect…with people, y’know. Much better is the music video for Wild Nothing’s “Paradise,” which pairs the dreamy new-wave song with footage of a sad-eyed Williams looking nervous to be flying on an airplane. Speaking of: Jefferson Airplane’s Jorma Kaukonen is already writing a song about a baggage carousel, just so he can meet Michelle.
