Morrissey Talked Cancer, Being Groped, And More In His First Interview In 10 Years On ‘Larry King Now’

Everyone’s favorite genius curmudgeon Morrissey made a rather rare full-length appearance on a talk show for the first time in more than a decade. The former Smiths leader sat with Larry King on the veteran’s webshow Larry King Now for an in-depth interview. Never one to keep his politics to himself, Moz rattled off a string of quotables on the GOP, Donald Trump, and President Obama, who he called “white on the inside.”

Moz talked about his alleged sexual assault by TSA agents, introducing the world at large to the phrase “rear cleavage.” If that’s not on a bootleg T-shirt by the end of the year, I will be sorely disappointed in the True To You set.

He also talked about his ongoing depression and his battles with cancer. The sour singer saved his most curmedgeonly quotes, however, for the state of modern music.

“I’m not a fan of modern music at all, I don’t hear anything interesting at all.”

Morrissey also performed “Kiss Me A Lot” from his latest album, World Peace Is None Of Your Business.
