Nebraska Students Made An Amazing DJ Khaled Banner To Celebrate A Major Accomplishment

Saturday was a big day for Nebraska football, as the program celebrated its 350th consecutive home sellout during its game against Oregon. That’s completely insane – the last time the Huskers didn’t have a home sellout was in November of 1962 – and it’s the kind of mark that deserves some type of recognition.

Nebraska’s student section, The Iron N, decided to show some love to DJ Khaled as it celebrated this remarkable occasion. The group made a gigantic tifo – basically a big fancy banner that is unfurled by fans at sporting events – of Khaled with the number of sellouts and two smaller banners which said “ANOTHER” and “ONE”.

The entire operation, as you can guess, took a while. According to Hail Varsity, this took 30-40 hours of tracing alone, and the banner was put together in an abandoned warehouse. In total, it is 70 feet wide 50 feet tall. Then there was the decision to use DJ Khaled for a banner that would be unveiled at a Nebraska sporting event. As one member of The Iron N said, ““We wanted to have a banner that appealed to the younger generation, like a freshman in college or a senior in high school. We wanted to make something that got them excited to join The Iron N, stand on our shoulders and take it to the next level after [the seniors] are gone.”
