Justin Timberlake Is FINALLY Working On His Third Album (Probably)

Twelve years ago, if you had told me that I’d be excitedly writing about the third solo album from the guy who sang “Space Cowboy (Yippie-Yi-Yay)” for UPROXX, I’d first laugh at you, then ask what the hell UPROXX is, then probably listen to “Bye Bye Bye” for the 18th time that day (don’t hate). But Justin Timberlake, who’s released two solo albums since ‘N Sync disbanded, including 2006’s excellent FutureSex/LoveSounds, is supposedly working on his third LP with Timbaland — and I couldn’t be more pumped.

Via Digital Spy, and taken with a grain of salt:

US producer Jim Beanz – who has previously worked with Britney Spears and Katy Perry – told Digital Spy that the former ‘N SYNC star is currently penning tracks with Timbaland and that he will be joining them later this year.

“It’s still in the early stages, Beanz said, “but they have a lot of tracks. While I’ve been over here in the UK they’ve been working, so by the time I get back they’ll have a whole load of ideas and I’m going to have to catch up!”

He added: “He has some crazy, crazy stuff.” (Via)

I just want Timberlake to retake the “Justin Throne” from that whiny little twerp.
