On Monday night’s Late Late Show with James Corden, the totally random panel of guests comprised Pete Holmes, New Girl‘s Hannah Simone, and Noel Gallagher. In the beginning of the above clip, the lovely Simone talks about how she accidentally started holy Instagram war by having the nerve to post a picture of herself posing with a Chicago deep-dish pizza, insinuating that she loved one kind of pizza more than other kinds of pizza.
In the middle of this heated pizza discussion, Corden turned to Mr. Personality Noel Gallagher and asked him about his eating habits when he’s in the states, to which Gallagher replied that he “likes the hot-dog sandwich.” Slow news day notwithstanding, the fact that Gallagher calls a hot dog a “hot-dog sandwich” is the most hilarious thing ever. Can you imagine half of Oasis walking into a gas station and super seriously asking the pimply-faced teen behind the counter if he can have “a hot-dog sandwich?” The apex of comedy right there, my friends.
