To anyone looking to go viral by making an ass of themselves at a Patti LaBelle concert, look elsewhere. The 71-year-old singer of “Lady Marmalade” is not having any of your foolishness.
LaBelle proved this when she brought a fan on stage during her Vancouver tour stop. The fan started to strip and asked LaBelle to spank him, which caused the singer to snatch the soul out of his body.
“Don’t you dare. Not on my stage…Didn’t I say I was 71 years young? I am not Nicki Minaj or that little Miley.”
When he continued, LaBelle shoved him into a waiting security guard and yelled at him as he was escorted off.
“Get off of my goddurn stage, b*tch. Put him out of the building, put him out. How dare he?… I believe in giving second and third and fourth chances, because I always say sometimes we know not what we do. Just so rude. A rude American or whoever he is, whatever he is. Don’t ever come in my face again. Next!”
While Taylor Swift calmly carrying on after fans tried to hop on the stage is impressive, a good, old-fashioned dressing down is always fun to watch.
