Phoenix Shared Three New Dissonant Pop Songs At Their First Show In Three Years

Remember that feeling we all got when we heard Phoenix was going on tour for the first time in three years, that faint hint of joy at the prospect of new music approaching from the French indie outfit? Looks like our instincts were correct. At the group’s first show of their world tour, the “1901” rockers premeired three new songs,, even starting out the set with a fresh track.

The performance at the Muziekcentrum Trix in Antwerp, Belgium kicked off with “Ti Amo,” which you can hear in a fan-shot video up top. After playing the fan favorites “Lasso” and “Entertainment,” the group revealed another new song called “J-Boy.” They waited quite a few more songs before unveiling their third and final new track of the night called “Role Model.”
