PJ Harvey Recorded A Superb Cover Of Nick Cave’s ‘Red Right Hand’

It’s nice to hear an unexpectedly great cover song (say what you will about Miley Cyrus, but her “Jolene” is on-point), but the obvious can be wonderful, too. Take PJ Harvey singing Nick Cave’s “Red Right Hand,” for instance. It’s solid in theory, and superb in execution. It’s the first time Cave and Harvey have “collaborated” since 1990s, when they dated (that pairing made a lot of sense…too much, apparently) and performed “Henry Lee” from Murder Ballads together.
