Prince’s Plane Made An Emergency Landing To Rush Him To The Hospital

Scary news in the rock world today as the iconic genius Prince was apparently rushed to the hospital on Friday.

According to reports from TMZ, Prince’s jet made an emergency landing at Quad City International Airport in Moline, IL early Friday morning. The landing came around 1 a.m. local time, not too long after Prince’s performance in Atlanta the night before. There are currently differing reports regarding the status of the superstar’s health, with one source saying he is still in the hospital and “not doing well” while another source claims the singer has been released and is doing okay.

According to several fan Instagram photos and Tweets, the 57 year old performed without a problem in Atlanta on Thursday night as part of his Piano And A Microphone tour. While he looked good during his performance, those were actually shows he had postponed and pushed back a week due to the singer being ill with the flu. No word yet on whether he was still battling flu symptoms as of this morning or during his Thursday performance.

Details are still coming in regarding the health of The Purple One but we can only hope it is nothing serious and that he is able to continue his Piano And A Microphone Tour soon.

Prince’s rep has declared that the singer is “fine,” and has returned home to Minnesota to rest. No word yet on how this will affect future tour dates.
