Rihanna‘s new album, ANTI, is one of the most anticipated albums of 2015, unless it comes out in 2016. The release date for RiRi’s eighth studio album has been long speculated by fans and even some of the album’s contributors to be sometime in December, but hasn’t been confirmed in any form. The only thing we know for sure is that Samsung paid a proverbial boatload of money to be a part of the marketing effort for the album. So on Monday, Rihanna put out a tweet promoting the album and it ratcheted up the speculation for the release to its highest point yet.
Rihanna has been posting teasers from upcoming songs and videos on twitter for the Samsung-sponsored ANTIdiary series on weekly basis until now. This is the first week that she has posted more than one, leading to speculation that the album’s release is closer than it ever has been, possibly on Christmas, which would coincide with the new industry standard of Friday album releases. It seems that the world is craving a new RiRi album so much that we’ll take anything as a sign that it will be here soon. That sounds like the kind of attention Rihanna likes to have.
