Rozwell Kid Bring The Riffs With Their Second Single ‘UHF On DVD’

“All I want is to be at home with you eating tacos and watching UHF on DVD,” sings frontman Jordan Hudkins on Rozwell Kid’s new single titled, fittingly, “UHF On DVD.” The lyric tells a simple story, but one to which we can all relate, making this track one of the cornerstones of Rozwell Kid’s latest effort. It also doesn’t hurt that this simplistic line from the song’s chorus is surrounded by some crushing octave riffs. Check out a lyric video for “UHF On DVD,” which was premiered last night on idobi Radio, above.

The track — which was preceded by the dramatic piano-driven interlude “South By” — is taken from Precious Art, the band’s first full-length release under the SideOneDummy imprint, which is due out later this summer. If you couldn’t get the indication from the above single, this record is definitely one to add to your “Summer Shenanigans” playlist for those windows-down drives with your buds. Check out our recent lengthy profile on Hudkins and the band to learn more about their origins, history, and the massive star potential wrapped up in the twelve songs on Precious Art.

Precious Art is out June 23rd on SideOneDummy. Stream “UHF On DVD” on Spotify and Apple Music.
