The Foo Fighters Closed Out Their ‘Late Show’ Residency With A Top Ten List

Those Foo Fighters have always been a pretty silly and fun bunch, even back in those early days when they were parodying Mentos commercials and featured a few different members. Now they get to check a big goal off their comedy checklists (a dumb to thing to actually have) by doing one of David Letterman’s famous Top 10 lists. I know they’re famous because they printed a bunch of them up and sold them in book form. Same with Jimmy Fallon’s “Thank You Notes.”

It was a lot of Foo this week, but I think they made the best of their residence in the Ed Sullivan theater. They even made the actual Top 10 pretty funny. Usually I feel the guest presenters are a bit dry, but they were pretty great. They followed it all up with a performance of their new song “Something From Nothing,” complete with another Rick Nielsen appearance.

Also be sure to check out the retrospective video of the full week below.
