The War On Drugs Played One Of The Year’s Best Songs On ‘Letterman’ Last Night

I don’t care if the War on Drugs is hip #dadrock — they’re f*cking awesome, and “Red Eyes” is the best song on one of the year’s best albums, Lost In the Dream. That moment where singer Adam Granduciel lets out a “WOO” before launching into a guitar solo is legitimately thrilling, as was seeing the Philly-based band on Late Show with David Letterman last night. Even Jimmy Fallon’s music booker got in on the Drug-y love, tweeting, “Yes!! @warondrugsjams just slayed on Letterman. Congrats my friends,” while The Tonight Show was still on.
