If there was ever an opportune time for G.O.O.D. Music should release Cruel Winter, that time would be right now. Travi$ Scott’s new album is getting a lot of love, Kanye’s Pablo tour is creating waves and even Teyana Taylor’s creating a sizable buzz for herself. But, albums generally don’t happen that quickly, but fans should know the album is progressing towards fruition, according to Travi$ Scott.

The producer-rapper stopped through NYC’s Hot 97 during the promo run for Birds when he was asked to share details on he long-awaited compilation. “I would say we have a lot of songs done,” he says. “How many songs we got picked? I will only say like a handful. We just gotta sit down and lock in all the way.”

Scott was also very adamant that “every G.O.O.D. Music artist” would be involved when pressed as to whether every G.O.O.D. MC would be involved with the project. So let’s just take that to mean the likes of CyHi, Hollywood Holt, and Desiigner will find their names listed on the final credits. Maybe even Mr. Hudson will get called in for some action, too.

It’s also been previously established that Scott would serve as executive producer for the project, thereby explaining La Flame saying “One thing I can say about this project is it’s gonna be very youthful. Straight to the point. That means the kids who are not on the radio all the time, who really have the club going really ridiculous, that’s who this album is for.” After hearing “Champions,” let’s hope that means the Three Wise Migos will be invited to the Cruel Winter party.
