Trey Songz Was Arrested For Making It Rain In A Strip Club

You can only keep quiet a story involving strippers and someone getting hit in the eye with money for so long, as the Trey Songz camp earlier today, when TMZ “broke” the following story.

Trey Songz (real name Tremaine Neverson) had an album release party on August 21 at a gentleman’s club in Queens. According to police, somewhere between 4:00 and 4:15 AM on the 22nd, Trey became involved in an altercation inside the club.

Cops described the incident this way in the criminal complaint: “Tremaine Neverson, did throw a sum of United States currency at the complainant and said sum of United States currency struck the complainant’s left eye causing substantial pain to her left eye.”

Songz was not arrested that night, but a month later for misdemeanor assault. Songz had a court date in NY on November 1 and an order of protection was issued. He’s due back in court in February. (Via)

It’s times like these that I wish CSI: Miami was still on. David Caruso could walk up to the corpse of the dead stripper, stare at her for a few seconds, excuse himself, and while slowly taking off his sunglasses, say to Emily Procter, “I guess he…made it pain.” Oh yeah, in CSI: Miami‘s version, the stripper’s dead.

Alas.
