Ty Segall is, without a doubt, one of the busiest people in rock today. He’s constantly putting out great new albums every year, even a 3D vinyl EP, and is part of multiple bands that tour non-stop. So it really shouldn’t surprise anyone that Segall is ready to put out new music with his other, other band Fuzz. The group plans to release their sophomore album // on October 23, as a follow-up to 2013’s self-titled debut, and have shared two tracks.

The news of Fuzz’s 14-song album comes just 20 days after Segall announced a new band with members of OFF! and Melvins. Fuzz includes Segall on drums, Charles Moothart on guitar and Chad Ubovich playing bass with both Moothart and Ubovich taking on vocal duties, as well. In the press release for the album, the songs plan to explore “all the blank-ations of what will be, or has always been.” It then goes a little deeper to say “tried and true methods mixed with tongue twisting, teeth shattering, seizure-inducing stabs at the norm. Bathe in the heatwave that is Fuzz, and regret nothing in the time freeze.” Basically, the album is going to rule. Listen to two tracks from the upcoming album below:

“Rat Race”

“Pollinate”
