Either this is viral marketing that puts even the dumbest of horror films to shame, or Wiz Khalifa was actually arrested for marijuana possession. We’re still waiting for official confirmation (see below), but earlier today, the weed-loving rapper tweeted a “jail selfie” followed by “I wanna drop 28 Grams but they got me locced up. Soon as I get out, the tapes comin out. Fucc that.” He was referring to a new mixtape, the ironically titled 28 Grams, that was supposed to drop sometime today.
OK, but that still doesn’t explain why Wiz still has his phone in jail? And those pants.
UPDATE: Texas strikes again.
Wiz was on his on the road in route to Neon Desert Music Festival in El Paso, Texas when he got busted for being in possession of weed. (Via)
