The World Is A Better Place With Matthew McConaughey Writing ‘Rap Songs’ In It

Matthew McConaughey’s musical abilities are readily apparent to anyone whose evr dreamed of him playing all of “Give Up the Funk (Tear the Roof off the Sucker)” on the bongos, naked, not that I know of such a person. Just saying. Anyway, in a chat with GQ, who named McConaughey the Leading Man of the Year, and for once not because he led men to run out of movie theaters screaming midway through How to Lose a Guy In 10 Days, the Magic Mike star reveals that he owns a laptop containing “aphorisms, bumper stickers, truths, and rhymes.” Then there’s this:

Lately he has been writing bits of rap songs. Rollin’ through yellow lights on my skateboard, he speak-sings. Kiss the fire and walk away whistlin’. (Via)

Something tells me Matthew McConaughey knows a lot of words that rhyme with “truth” and “surf.”
