You’ll Never Guess Who Jay-Z Got To Headline His ‘Made In America’ Music Festival

Jay-Z, forever proving the haters wrong, managed to book the likes of Nine Inch Nails, Queens of the Stone Age, and Phoenix to play at the second now-annual Made In America music festival, set to go down from August 31-September 2, 2013, in Philadelphia’s Benjamin Franklin Parkway. But it’s the lineup’s headliner that’s stopping people in their tracks and making them ask, “How did Jay-Z pull THAT off?”: Beyoncé.

Says Consequence of Sound:

Jay-Z once again curated this year’s lineup, though unlike last year he won’t be performing. Rather, he’s a booked Beyoncé and Solange, alongside acts like Nine Inch Nails, Phoenix, Queens of the Stone Age, Deadmau5, the Black Hippy crew (Kendrick Lamar, SchoolBoy Q, Ab-Soul, and Jay Rock), Empire of the Sun, Haim, ASAP Rocky, Public Enemy, Miguel, and AlunaGeorge. Also playing are Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Rudimental, Calvin Harris, The Gaslight Anthem, Imagine Dragons, Fitz and the Tantrums, Emeli Sandé, Wiz Khalifa, Nero, Walk the Moon, 2 Chainz, and Wolfgang Gartner, among others. Here’s hoping Beyoncé didn’t sleep her way onto the bill.
