Police Found A Very Interesting Way To Pass The Time During Brussels’ Terrorist Lockdown

In the wake of November’s Paris terrorist attacks, a credible threat spread to Belgium, which went on strict lockdown. Everything in the city closed. No one could shop, eat at restaurants, linger at pubs, or take the subway. Cabin fever quickly hit the general population, and some citizens resorted to themed cat memes to keep spirits high.

As it turns out, much of Brussels’ police force experienced idle hands, as well. What was there to do during those long hours of boredom while sequestered in makeshift barracks? Well, some officers found amusement while their compadres were out searching for suspects. One police station got pretty wild, according to Politico, which writes of several soldiers and lady officers getting rowdy together:

Eight soldiers and two female police officers allegedly engaged in lewd acts at a police station in the neighborhood of Ganshoren, just north of Molenbeek, where officers were hunting for suspects in connection with the November 13 Paris attacks … for two weeks in November, the Ganshoren station was transformed into a makeshift barracks for soldiers who were patroling the streets of the Belgian capital.

Essentially, this report indicates that group sex has launched a massive internal investigation, but no one will say exactly who (or what) did the tattling. Hidden camera, perhaps? As if the prospect of down-and-dirty deeds isn’t enough, the Belgian army is now investigating a solider who reportedly went Christmas shopping during his anti-terrorism patrol hours.

Did someone get busted, or is this an innocent photo?
