Donald Trump Responds To Obama Diss By Saying He Would’ve Beat Him In 2012

President Obama, in his last year in office, continued his IDGAF tour this week by saying that he doesn’t think that Donald Trump will become president, because Obama has faith in the American people.

Now Trump has responded by throwing some shade Obama’s way, except with Trump, you never get shade because that would require actual precision subtlety, which I haven’t really seen Trump employ.

Anyway, here’s Trump’s response at a campaign event in Beaufort, S.C.:

“He has done such a lousy job as president. You look at our budgets. You look at our spending. We can’t beat ISIS. Obamacare is terrible–we’re gonna terminate it, we’re gonna absolutely terminate and replace it. Our borders are like Swiss cheese. This man has done such a bad job. He has set us back so far. And for him to say that actually is a great compliment, if you want to know the truth.”

Then, the money shot: “You’re lucky I didn’t run last time when Romney ran, because you would’ve been a one-term president.”

Trump’s son Eric also has something to say about Obama, as CNN reports. “I mean, there are so many problems. And here the President, you know, wastes time and goes and speaks about a presidential race of which he’s not a part of,” says Eric. “I mean, it’s actually, it’s a very, very sad thing.”
