Jimmy Kimmel Announces His Intentions To Run For Vice President Of The United States

Jimmy Kimmel unveiled his latest stunt on Thursday night, ramping up the heat on the 2016 presidential campaign by tossing his hat into the ring for vice president. Kimmel announced his run during a speech on Hollywood Boulevard, showing up with a giant bus and some pure American spirit. Along with Guillermo and Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski, Kimmel made his intentions known to the public with some grand quotes:

“It’s time to take our country back! From whom? I don’t know, but I want it back!”

“As Vice President of the United States, I will never stop fighting for you. Unless Game of Thrones is on. In which case, I will stop fighting for an hour, or slightly more, depending how many times I have to rewind to figure out what’s going on.”

And as you can tell from the clip released above, Kimmel got the CNN treatment with Wolf Blitzer, Dana Bash, and Jake Tapper. It had just the right amount of snark and very little for Dana Bash and Jake Tapper to do with Wolf Blitzer taking control of the entire show. Typical diva. Kimmel wasn’t done with the quotes either:

“Spread the word, be part of the revolution. Share your thoughts. Tell me what you would like to see done. I care about what you care about – even if they’re things I don’t care about.”

“I will be your VP, your MVP, your BFF, and your PYT!”

He can’t be any worse than Sarah Palin, Dan Quayle, or that pillow that Richard Nixon pretended was Spiro Agnew for like a month or two before Gerald Ford stepped in.
