Leslie Jones Encourages Twitter To ‘Go Out And Be Nice To Someone’

Leslie Jones made her triumphant return to Twitter earlier this week after the social media platform finally kicked Breitbart writer Milo Yiannopoulos off their service once and for all. Yiannopoulos orchestrated the waves of hate and racism that forced Leslie off of Twitter originally, and after his permanent ban she felt the matter was put behind her enough to get back on social media to re-connect with fans. Now, Jones is calling for people to just be nice to each other and stop hating.

It is so great to simply have Leslie back on Twitter (if you missed her hilarious discovery of a hot Yankees player this weekend, check that out) and even better to have her sign off this rant with the proclamation that she is a warrior. We wouldn’t doubt that for a second, Leslie. Not a single second.

Giving somebody a hug or simply being nice to your fellow humans (whether online or off) is an easy enough thing to do. It would be nice if everybody followed through on Leslie’s advice and tried to be a bit more kind day in and day out. Just be happy, block trolls, and don’t cause trouble on Twitter.
