A Judge Bans A Mischievous Man From Ordering Pizza Ever Again

They say you can’t have too much of a good thing, and that’s a lesson a Florida man had to learn the hard way. Randy Riddle, whose name sounds like a poor man’s DC villain, has been charged with four counts of harassing phone calls and two counts of first-degree petty theft after calling pizza shops in Sebastian, Florida one too many times.

And as cruel as it sounds, Riddle probably deserved his punishment. We’ve all been guilty of sleeping through a delivery order once in awhile, but Riddle took it to a whole new level. In a three-week period, Riddle called several pizza shops in the area, refused to pay his bills, directed poor delivery drivers to fake addresses, and just called up businesses to tell them their pies stunk. As a former pizza delivery boy, these charges hurt.

Riddle thought he was covering his tracks by using five different phone numbers in an almost three week period. He sometimes gave a fake name or none at all. The TC Palm reported the businesses Riddle led along lost $667 because of the food they lost.

Riddle was arrested August 1, and in an ultimate act of karma, he was banned from calling or harassing any pizza businesses, or his bail will be revoked. It’s good to know that pizza establishments can sleep well at night, knowing one of their pies won’t go to waste because of one nefarious villain.
