Sarah Palin And Family Were Allegedly Involved In A Massive, Bloody Brawl At A Party

If you had asked me yesterday, I’d have thought that all parties in Alaska devolved into brawls. I assume there isn’t much to do there and it is a way of life and it’s certainly not news. That is not the case. An Alaskan brawl does become national news when a former vice-presidential candidate is involved.

Details are murky at best, but it goes sorta like this. Sarah Palin and her family were just trying to help Todd Palin celebrate his 50th birthday and honor the Iron Dog snowmobile race. Later, words were exchanged, alcohol was ingested, and many fires seemed to burn out of control. One of those blazes allegedly belonged to the Palin family. From The Telegraph:

Track Palin stumbles out of a stretch Hummer, and immediately spots an ex-boyfriend of Willow’s. Track isn’t happy with this guy, the story goes. There’s words, and more. The owner of the house gets involved, and he probably wished he hadn’t. At this point, he’s up against nearly the whole Palin tribe: Palin women screaming. Palin men thumping their chests. Word is that Bristol has a particularly strong right hook, which she employed repeatedly, and it’s something to hear when Sarah screams, “Don’t you know who I am!” And it was particularly wonderful when someone in the crowd screamed back, “This isn’t some damned Hillbilly reality show!”

There’s no video of the incident public as of right now, but I’m sure it will surface. If it doesn’t pop up on TMZ before dawn, I will be shocked. Until then, I believe this footage is the proper representation of what happened during the party:

Small details continue to pour out as the day goes by, with more and more eyewitness accounts of what happened. One of the best is the description of Sarah Palin’s choice of footwear at this event: platform shoes with American flags covering them. I can just picture it all happening with a baby in hand, much like the family reunions of my childhood.

I’m also not shocked that Bristol Palin allegedly threw a punch considering some of her past encounters that have been caught on tape. Alaska seems fun.

I’ll update this as more details come out, especially if there is video. I can only hope they package it for her video network. I really don’t want my subscription to go to waste.
