A Houston Mom Allegedly Murdered Her Two Daughters Before Police Killed Her

Family disputes happen every day, but some are much worse than others. And most of these arguments don’t end with the teenager shot dead in the middle of the street alongside their sibling. According to BuzzFeed, there was a grisly scene in Fulshear, Texas, just outside of Houston yesterday afternoon that involved a family incident. When the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s department arrived on the scene after a number of frantic 911 calls the scene was horrible; 17-year-old Madison Sheats and 22-year-old Taylor Sheats were laying in the street, both shot. One was already deceased, while the other was rushed to the hospital where her wounds proved to be mortal.

At the scene was 42-year-old Crystal Sheats, gun in hand, reportedly refusing to listen to orders from the officers. When she refused to comply the officer was forced to take action, shooting and killing Crystal Sheats, identified as the mother of Madison and Taylor. The Sheriff’s Office made a Facebook post about the incident asking for well-wishes for the family and the community.

According to reports, the father was inside of the home during the incident. It’s still unclear exactly where the shootings happened, if it was within the home or in the street. Regardless, this is truly a terrible situation that leaves a family in shambles and three lives lost over an argument that in retrospect will most likely not seem worthy of taking these lives.
