Another sad story about children and gun safety. A young woman was shot to death by her toddler while she was driving in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This is a lot like the story of a four-year-old shooting his mother who was an NRA member in the back while she was driving, but with an even more tragic ending (the NRA mom survived).

According to the Milwaukee Wisconsin Journal Sentinel, the victim was a 26-year-old woman named Patrice Prince. She was driving her boyfriend’s car, who had left his gun in the car (he works as a security guard).

Video apparently captured a disturbing scene:

Video from the scene showed a blue four-door sedan pulled to the side of the southbound lanes. Brandon Glass was traveling north on Highway 175 when he realized something was wrong on the other side of the freeway, he told WTMJ-TV (Channel 4). “I saw a blue sedan that had its door open and it was stopped in the middle of the freeway. And I saw a body lying outside of that,” said Glass.

Prince was not breathing when police arrived. They pronounced her dead at the scene. Detectives are still trying to determine other details, such as how the child in question was able to pick up the gun and fire it. No matter what, this is a sad story all around.
