Hulk Hogan Says He Plans To Wrestle At WrestleMania 32 And Wants A Piece Of Rusev

Since returning to WWE in February of last year, Hulk Hogan has made no secret about his desire to get back into the ring for another shot at the WWE Championship. Keep in mind that Hulk is 61 years old, barely medically cleared to walk and has been on the wrong side of a wrestling career for at least 15 years. Still, though, nothing can stop the Hulkster’s desire to compete, or his desire to make himself look at least 100 times more important than any young people competing alongside him.

Enter today’s press conference for WWE’s upcoming tour of Australia. Hogan has been named “general manager” of the tour, and instead of saying “I’ll have fun showing up at the beginning of these shows to wave at everybody and make matches,” Hogan gave the crowd the hard sell for a Hulk Hogan comeback at WrestleMania 32.

In the video below, you’ll hear Hogan recount his probably totally true conversation with Vince McMahon about the event. Hogan says he told Vince that WWE can’t do WrestleMania 32 in Dallas without him, and that he plans to get back into the ring. He says Vince said he’d let it happen if Hulk could get medically cleared, and that he’s “looking forward to it.”

Who does Hogan want to wrestle, you might be asking? Rusev, of course. John Cena stood up for America and defeated Rusev at WrestleMania 31, so it’d only make sense for Cena’s spiritual grandpa to beat additional America into Rusev at 32.

Here’s the complete video. Stick around for the crazy happening of Hulk Hogan talking about Kevin Owens, saying Vince — not Triple H, but Vince — has “the vision” to put him over as “the real deal.” I’ll be honest, I hope Vince’s vision is “Hogan eats a package piledriver at WrestleMania 32.”
