Is John Cena Taking Time Off After Hell In A Cell? Here’s What We Know.

If scheduling and show advertisements are to be believed, John Cena may be taking time off after Hell In A Cell.

I know this is hard to take, but stay with me.

According to PWInsider, the United States Champion and Face That Runs The Place is not currently advertised for post-Hell In A Cell Raws in San Diego on October 26 and Denver on November 2, and is off house shows on Halloween weekend. He’s was scheduled to be a part of the European Tour that starts on November 4, but was removed from that and all WWE live events through the December 30 house show in Toronto. The Observer says it’s for, “personal reasons.”

Currently Brock Lesnar vs. The Undertaker is the only match announced for the HIAC event on October 25, but you’d imagine that if Cena was taking time away from TV, he’d be locked into the kind of blood feud that’d give him an excuse to miss shows. Currently he’s restarted the U.S. Open Challenge, but more or less played Spike Dudley in a pair of matches against The New Day. The last time Cena missed Raws was back in July when Seth Rollins broke his nose with a jumping knee, and even with a severe injury he didn’t miss much time. Ratings went up, though.

Dry your eyes, kids …

… this could always be an issue of advertising (or a temporary plan, which could easily change), so remember that even when Big Match John misses time, he’s not gone for long. Maybe he’s just filming 12 Rounds 4: 48 Rounds, or the latest Judd Apatow Joint. He’ll be back in front of a HOT CROWD TONIGHT before you know it, telling people that if they want some they should come get some, and that he wants to fight them RIGHT HERE TONIGHT.
