Friday Wrestling Conversation: What’s Your Favorite Match Of 2015?

We’re in the process of putting together our Best Of lists for 2015, so we thought we’d open the floor to you: What was your favorite pro wrestling match of 2015?

A lot of the conversation will lean WWE (and NXT) because that’s the U.S. consciousness, but it’s not just a WWE question. If your favorite match happened on Ring of Honor TV, Lucha Underground or Impact Wrestling, let us know. If it happened in Japan, where a lot of them do, or in the exploding UK scene, drop down into the comments section and tell us about it. Love your local promotion and want to tell us about the best thing you’ve seen there all year? Go for it. This is a thread for talking about all the stuff we loved in the ring this year, and why. If you have thoughts on someone else’s choices, make your voice heard, but … try to keep it civil, yeah?

We haven’t finished our formal list yet, but the ones that pop into my brain the fastest on the WWE/NXT tip are the Bayley vs. Sasha Banks match at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn and the Iron Man followup. The match where John Cena gets his nose broken is memorable for a lot of reasons. Outside of WWE, I’m a Lucha Underground homer, so the Mil Muertes vs. Fenix Grave Consequences match is an A+, as was the Prince Puma vs. Johnny Mundo “All Night Long.” Lots to choose from there. As for Japan, it’s hard to get better than Nakamura vs. Ibushi from Wrestle Kingdom 9.

Anyway, let us know your choices! We want to know them! You’ll make sure we don’t forget any when we’re posting that list.
