This is it. Unless something really weird happens, Phil Brooks, or as we know him, CM Punk, is going to make that walk. The last few weeks have given us a plethora of training footage as the cameras followed Punk’s every move at Roufusport in Milwaukee. Now, the final footage leading up to UFC 203 comes to us in UFC Embedded.
Episode 1 shows the final day of Punk training in Milwaukee. He has completely given himself over to the training and has embraced the grind, so to speak. Whether this will lead to a victory against Mickey Gall, who is suspiciously absent from any of this promotion, is the question.
Episode 2, which you can see below, transitions to Chicago, where CM Punk gets a few more workouts in at his home gym, then shows off his slick two-bathtub combo. WWE money. Money in the Bath match. Whatever you want to call it, Punk’s got a nice little setup.
As of this writing, weigh-ins are only two days away with open workouts and media to come. This is where Punk will shine. Gall may have the edge in combat sports experience, but Punk knows how to handle the pressure of the crowd and the absurd amount of media that will be surrounding this fight.
