Daniel Bryan Is Coming Back To WWE In A Way Nobody Wants

Daniel Bryan, our most beloved wrestler with the neckbones of a bird, is finally returning to WWE. Well… sort of. While he won’t be Knee-Plussing anyone anytime soon, according to WWE.com, Bryan will appear on the Elimination Chamber pre-show as a guest on Miz TV:

Before the latest WWE live special kicks off at 7 ET/4 PT on the award-winning WWE Network this Sunday, Daniel Bryan, appearing for the first time since relinquishing the Intercontinental Championship, will be the guest on a special edition of “Miz TV.” Sunday will also mark Miz’s first appearance since defeating Damien Sandow for the rights to the Miz brand on Raw. There will be plenty for the two former WWE World Heavyweight Champions to talk about, from Bryan’s role in the revived WWE Tough Enough, to their days as Mentor and Rookie in NXT and, of course, the question on everyone’s mind: Bryan’s status as he recovers from the injury that forced him to vacate the Intercontinental Championship in the first place.

I know we’re all hankering to find out when Bryan will return to action, but is it wrong for me to hope that they spend an entire hour talking about How Well Do You Know Your Pro, and, by default, how much better Derrick Bateman was at everything than everyone? Too much? Stick to injury talk and Tough Enough? Ugh, FINE. Either way, it’ll be nice to have Bryan back, and I’ll still keep my fingers crossed for a Knee-Plus out of nowhere if Miz gets too… you know.. .Miz.
