The combo of Dean Ambrose and Renee Young is one of those relationships that splits public opinion pretty evenly down gender-based lines. Most guys wonder why the radiant Renee went for that stringy-haired weirdo, and most women want to know what rugged rebel Dean Ambrose sees in that mousy interview lady. Renee acknowledged their relationship a few months back, but Dean Ambrose has mostly stayed silent on the subject, probably because a significant portion of his fanbase are further out on the lunatic fringe than he is.
Well, in a recent brief interview with the TalkSPORT Gorilla Position podcast, Ambrose finally opened up about his relationship, and admitted what a good portion of the WWE Universe already knows – Renee Young is just too damn good for him.
“I wouldn’t be with anything less than the optimal, most beautiful, most tremendous girl in the world. But the bottom line is, she’s far too good for me!”
Too good for him? Is that the sound of trouble in paradise? Hold on a minute, Deanamaniacs. Cool your engines. Ambrose had more to say.
“But it’s far too late and I’ve got my claws stuck into her now, she can’t go anywhere now. Would a girl like that want to be with anyone but the legendary Dean Ambrose? So, it’s going to work.”
Well, that was a little egotistical. Maybe there is trouble in paradise. The Renee Young who lives on a golden pedestal in my mind certainly wouldn’t put up with that! Er, which is to say, we here at With Spandex wish Dean Ambrose and Renee Young the best. Yup, totally.
