Dolph Ziggler Has Reportedly Signed A Multi-Year Deal To Remain In WWE’s Mid-Card

Earlier this week, Dolph Ziggler was rumored to be looking at options outside of WWE when his contract expired in the fall. This was backed up by former WWE writer Court Bauer, who said that Dolph had “indicated informally” that he’d be bailing unless he got a push.

As it turns out, the Internet may have jumped to conclusions. Have we ever done that before?

According to Mike Johnson over at PWInsider, they can confirm that Ziggler signed a multi-year contract to stay with WWE, that it’s a multi-year deal and that it was signed “several weeks ago.” We at With Spandex would like to sincerely apologize for our role in making you imagine “Nick Diggler” popping up in The Impact Zone in September, or any fantasy booking involving Ziggler battling Mil Muertes inside Dario Cueto’s Temple. It’s match after match with Kane forever!

In all seriousness, here’s to hoping that multi-year deal included a raise and the promise that he’ll actually get stories beyond “likable wrestler we wish was doing something better than whatever this is.”
