The Adorable ‘Tough Enough’ Kid Finally Got To Be An Official WWE Superstar

During the open castings for WWE’s Tough Enough series, young Elijah Mainville submitted a video of him wrestling Iron Man. While he never made it in front of the judges (those pesky child-labour laws!), he did get a personal video message from Stephanie McMahon and Triple H. Not only did they invite him to last night’s episode of WWE Raw, he was given a Money In The Bank briefcase with a contract to become the newest WWE Superstar.

After the show wrapped up on Monday, Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, and Elijah’s favourite wrestler Stardust brought him to the ring to make it official:

Damn that kid is good.

If you pay close attention, you can see that Elijah, or DRAX SHADOW, is wearing the custom gloves Stardust had made especially for him, because the Rhodes family might be the nicest family in wrestling (or ever).

At just three years old Elijah was diagnosed with high-risk neuroblastoma, one of the toughest forms of childhood cancer to treat, even with intensive therapy. Eight-year-old Elijah continues his battle against the disease, but now has the help and support of some pretty cool friends:

I love you, pro wrestling. I love you the most.
