2K has slowly been revealing this year’s full roster of WWE Superstars for the upcoming WWE 2K17 release. After being snubbed the previous year, Four Horsewomen members Sasha Banks and Charlotte can now throw hands in video game perpetuity. Amongst the usual cavalcade of playable Superstars, you can play as critical favorites like AJ Styles and BFF tag team American Alpha, and poor injured Finn Balor with a chainsaw because he did it in real life one time.
The latest and final update sees the addition of 24 names, including legends like Big Boss Man and Diesel. Current WWE Champion Dean Ambrose joins the party, as well as John Cena, but of course we already knew that. Dusty Rhodes will be there, in case you like to sob through your video game dream matches.
The BIGGEST news is that Bayley is, in fact, in the game. That means all Four Horsewomen are finally here in the game, where they belong and where they should have been last year. The reveal also included current NXT Women’s Champion Asuka, who gets this badass entrance:
Yeah, it’s real disappointing that the voice over refers to her as a WWE Diva now that the term has been dead and buried for so long, but hey, as long as the classic Jerry Lawler Guide to Sexual Harassment video game commentary of old is gone, then I’m okay with letting 2K and their probable time constraints slide.
