Hulk Hogan has long been Tampa Bay Lightning fan of note. Back in their 2004 Stanley Cup run, a 16-year-old Brooke Hogan sang the national anthem at every winning home game (and also somehow sparked rumors of an illicit affair with Vincent Lecavalier because every fandom is secretly terrible).

During a charity event for the Special Olympics, Hogan again threw his support behind the Lightning, saying he will go back home to Tampa and have some words with the guys, and that “Chicago is in trouble, brother.”

Will he teach Ben Bishop a Poke Check of Doom? Will every playoff beard be trimmed and bleached out before tonight’s Game 1? Are you currently picturing Jonathan Toews dressed as Macho Man and laughing to the point that it might be affecting your ability to function? No? Just me? Well, either way, let’s just hope the Lightning aren’t as superstitious as some wrestlers can be during the playoffs, and we’ll be spared another Brooke Hogan anthem attempt.
