It’s Official: WrestleMania 32 Is Coming To AT&T Stadium In Arlington, Texas

The location of WrestleMania 32 has been a terribly kept secret for a while now, but early Tuesday morning WWE.com made it official: WrestleMania is headed to North Texas.

WrestleMania 32 will be held at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on Sunday, April 3, 2016. Later today, a media event will be held at the stadium featuring WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon, WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan, WWE Superstar John Cena and other WWE Superstars and Divas, to celebrate the announcement.

This is, of course, the $1.3 billion monolith formerly known as Cowboys Stadium. It’s been a desired location for Mania since it opened in 2009, but scheduling conflicts including the 2014 NCAA Men’s Final Four kept it away. The building can comfortably hold 80,000 and be expanded to hold over 105,000 with standing room. They got 108,000+ in for the 2010 NBA All-Star Game, so you know Vince McMahon’s looking to break some attendance records. That’ll be hard with WWE’s recent love of giant, elaborate Mania sets, but they’ll make it work. Plus, just think of those awkward Vince and Jerry Jones mark photos.

On a personal note, this is the closest a WrestleMania has ever been to my house so I’m personally inviting everyone on Earth to come to my apartment, get drunk and joy ride up to AT&T to watch Roman Reigns win his 3rd WWE Championship or whatever.
