James Corden Sent His Kindly, Confused Parents To WWE Raw

While much has been made of the late-night TV landscape being revolutionized by the addition of quick-witted, politically inspired hosts such as John Oliver and Samantha Bee, British comedian James Corden has been quietly winning over tons of folks on CBS’ The Late Late Show With James Corden through a series of carpool karaoke videos, truth-or-dare games and generally cheeky behavior.

He’s also lucky enough to have a set of parents who are ready and willing to play along with his ideas, as evidenced in his latest assignment, sending Mr. and Mrs. Corden off to a recent episode of WWE Raw at London’s O2 Arena. Leading up to showtime, Malcolm and Margaret have humorous run-ins with Sheamus, the Big Show (who falls on the receiving end of a butt-groping), The Miz and Maryse, R-Truth and Goldust (the latter presumably sans-face paint, which is likely why his face is not shown).

But the real money is in the Cordens hanging out with WWE World Tag Team Champions the New Day. If you’ve ever wanted to watch two elderly, polite English people wear strap-on dil — er, unicorn horns on their foreheads, form a tag team called M&M Mayhem (that’s a cease-and-desist waiting to happen) and take their best shot at twerking, then you are definitely in luck. Make sure to stick around to the end to see a belly-roll competition between Xavier Woods and Malcolm Corden. (There’s a sentence I never thought I’d type.)
