Complete NXT TV Taping Spoilers For July And August

NXT held its live TV tapings at Full Sail University on Wednesday night, for everything heading into NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn IV. Here’s everything that happened, and everything you need to know.

Please be aware that everything you read in the subsequent paragraphs is an actual, massive, legitimate spoiler for what will happen over the next several weeks of NXT television. NXT Taping Results for July 18, 2018:

July 25th Episode:

1. Adam Cole defeated Sean Maluta. After the match, Ricochet challenged Cole to a North American Championship match at TakeOver: Brooklyn IV, but Cole turned him down. Undisputed Era showed up to back up Cole, so the War Raider showed up to back up Ricochet. Trent Seven and Tyler Bate then showed up to keep Undisputed Era from retreating.

2. Lacey Evans defeated Tenilla Price.

3. Heavy Machinery defeated The Mighty. The Street Profits distracted The Mighty, causing them to lose.

4. Tyler Bate and Trent Seven defeated enhancement talent team State Line. After the match, Mustache Mountain challenged Undisputed Era for an NXT Tag Team Championship match at TakeOver.

5. EC3 defeated Kona Reeves. Velveteen Dream tried to distract EC3 during the match.


August 1st Episode:

1. Shayna Baszler defeated Candice LeRae. After the match, Baszler attacked LeRae until Kairi Sane made the save.

2. NXT Championship Match: Tommaso Ciampa defeated Aleister Black (c) to become the new NXT Champion. Read all about it here. Johnny Gargano attacked both men, but Ciampa was able to recover and pin Black to win the Championship. This was taped out of order, and should air on the final NXT of June.

3. Nikki Cross defeated Amber Nova.

– Undisputed Era attacked Ricochet on the stage. Adam Cole then accepted Ricochet’s challenge for TakeOver Brooklyn.

4. Kassius Ohno defeated Adrian Jaoude.

August 8th Episode:

1. Keith Lee defeated Marcel Barthel.

2. Mae Young Classic Qualifying Match: Taynara Conti defeated Vanessa Borne.

3. The Street Profits defeated The Mighty.

– Tommaso Ciampa cut a promo in the ring about his championship win, insulting Johnny Gargano. Aleister Black and Johnny Gargano both showed up to interrupt. Gargano attacked Ciampa, sending him fleeing, and then Black hit Black Mass on Gargano.


August 15th Episode:

1. Kairi Sane defeated Aliyah with three top rope elbow drops and the Anchor submission to “send a message” to Shayna Baszle, who was sitting in on commentary.

2. Tyler Bate defeated Roderick Strong.

– Velveteen Dream cut a promo on EC3. EC3 showed up and hit him with the One Percenter.

3. Johnny Gargano vs. Aleister Blac ended in a no contest when Tommaso Ciampa attacked both men. William Regal returned and announced a triple threat for the NXT Championship at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn IV.
