Ric Flair Offered Up His Eastern Conference Final Prediction, And It’s Good News For The Cavs

Home court advantage proved to be the difference for the Boston Celtics in their second round series with the Wizards, as they won all four games played at TD Garden, including a 115-105 win in Monday night’s Game 7. That win earned them a trip to the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time since 2012, and they will face a familiar foe in LeBron James, who defeated them in 2012 while a member of the Miami Heat.

This time, the Celtics must take down LeBron on the defending NBA champion Cleveland Cavaliers, and there aren’t many giving them much of a chance. The Cavs are a perfect 8-for-8 in this playoffs, sweeping both the Pacers and the Raptors in the first two rounds. Boston will once again have home court advantage in the conference final, but few think that will make a significant difference against the Cavs.

“The Nature Boy” Ric Flair is among those that has the Cavs advancing to a third straight NBA Finals and he thinks they’ll be stylin’ and profilin’ as they do it, too, predicting a third straight sweep for LeBron and company on Twitter.

The last time Flair made a conference finals/championship prediction, he nailed it, taking the Falcons over the Packers. The Cavs will hope he’s right once again, but that they can have a better showing in the Finals than the Falcons did in the Super Bowl.
