Seth Rollins Is ‘Not Opposed To The Idea’ Of A Shield Reunion Because Duh Of Course He Isn’t

“Goddamn has it really been that long since The Shield broke up?” Me, not even five minutes prior to starting this article, proving that a) I have absolutely zero concept of time, and b) The Shield have an indelible place in the minds of wrestling fans. So much so, in fact, that Seth Rollins is still getting asked about the idea of a reunion between the three men who dominated WWE.

During a recent Q&A session held while promoting WWE’s European tour, Rollins gave his view on the stable getting back together:

There’s always room to mend broken hearts, I suppose. You never know. I suppose with Ambrose over on Smackdown and Roman and I on Raw, obviously, the reunion-reunion is not going to happen anytime soon. Ambrose is kind of kicking butt over there and we’re doing our thing on Raw.

I’m not opposed to the idea. Down the road, if the time is right and it feels good, maybe I’ll strap a vest on again and see what happens.

Listen, I’m all for Seth Rollins making his way back to being a singles champion (let’s do that again soon), and I guess whatever Dean and Roman are up to is perfectly fine, but I just ran through thirty pages of Shield screencaps and my heart, it yearns. 2017 Shield Reunion Tour, please.
