On Wednesday, WWE promoted their annual WrestleMania Reading Challenge — a great program that encourages kids to enrich their minds instead of just punching each other in the face — with an Instagram pic of Roman Reigns reading Philip Pullman’s The Golden Compass. It’s the most reading we’ve seen Roman do since any time he’s near a teleprompter.

In all seriousness, reading is the best and more people should do it. In that spirit, we decided to use Roman Reigns to explain six great things reading can do for you. Think of us as Cap’n O. G. Readmore, if he wasn’t a captain and was a member of a really wet swat team.
